Dr. Patti Dare is the President of Obsidian with over 30 years of program management and business development experience in the defense industry. Dare has the ability to coordinate with customers and build critical relationships to ensure mission success and is dedicated to supporting our Warfighters and ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources in the field to protect our Homeland.
Her prior roles have been Huntsville Site Executive and Requirements and Capabilities Executive Director for Raytheon Technologies;Strategic Deterrence Systems Business Development Director and Director of Integrated Planning and Schedule for Boeing; Program Director for the Targets and Countermeasures Program (TCP), Deputy of Operations, and Business Development Director at Lockheed Martin; and held program management and engineering leadership roles at Honeywell International. She has a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry bringing the technical expertise to these critical roles ensuring successful execution of deliverables and winning key acquisitions.
She has continued her professional development by participating in financial, business and management training and certification programs, including courses through the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Business, Massachusetts Institute of Technologies, Carnegie Melon, the Defense Acquisition University, and various industry training programs.
Dr. Dare has served on the foundation board of directors for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and The University of Alabama, Huntsville, Engineering board, Huntsville/Madison Chamber board and the Committee 100 Board.
Sarah Neeley is the Vice President of Obsidian with over 15 years of leadership experience. Neeley has the ability to bring groups of individuals together by creating camaraderie quickly to achieve critical objectives which results in execution on schedule within cost objectives and is focused on finding ways to support our Warfighters achieve their objectives to ensure security for our Homeland.
Neeley has held multiple roles in the Defense industry from Requirements and Capabilities Operations Associate Director at Raytheon Technologies, Missile and Weapon Systems and Huntsville Site Integrated Planning and
Scheduling Senior Manager for Boeing, Global Sales and Marketing Manager for Boeing Strategic Deterrence
Systems for Boeing, Chief of Staff and Program Operations Lead for GBSD at Boeing, Integrated Product Team Lead for Arrow 3 at Boeing, and program management roles in the commercial industry.
Neeley’s organizational skills, devotion to customer satisfaction and immediate response has allowed her to successfully execute milestone driven programs.
Neeley has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Alabama, Huntsville. She also hold multiple program management and business development certifications.
